OBJECTIVES AND GOALS |
FINANCIAL SUPPORT FOR POLITICAL CAMPAIGNS: BBP will exert its best efforts to provide much-needed financial support to sustain a grassroots political party/machinery ready, willing and able to wage the election campaigns of selected candidates for national and local offices, knowing fully well that the exorbitant cost in running for any political office has historically been the veritable cause and a sure formula for the unbridled graft and corruption in Philippine politics;
HUMANITARIAN ACTIVITIES: Regardless of its success or failure in any electoral process, BBP will also endeavor to be pro-actively involved in subsidizing humanitarian projects showcasing its undying commitment to uplift the deplorable, poverty-stricken conditions of the Filipino people including but not limited to the establishment and sustenance of medical/dental missions/feeding centers in depressed areas…credit/lending cooperatives adopting a Gramen-style system of lending to finance livelihood programs for the urban/rural poor…support of affordable housing programs for the poor patterned after Gawad-Kalinga (GK) and such other humanitarian projects which may be undertaken by BBP.

INHERENT MORAL PROBLEM IN THE PHILIPPINE
POLITICAL ARENA |
|
One cannot legislate reforms nor can one totally
eradicate graft and corruption, gross
immorality, inclination to violence in any of
the elective offices of the land most effectively
unless each and every elective officer puts into
practice what he/she supposedly professes/believes
as a Christian. Once there is such individual
spiritual transformation of the person occupying
said elective positions, he/she will have such
a God-fearing, Christ-centered spirit/demeanor and
attitudes so as to enable him/her to use the
resources/authority of the public office to bring
about the most good to the most number of people at
the least possible time. |

VISION AND ASPIRATION
It is the vision and aspiration of BBP to, at
long last, provide viable alternative choices to
the Filipino people in any and all Philippine
elections, with each competent candidate
exhorted, motivated and committed to adopt and
implement a Christ-like servant attitude with
the highest standards of integrity/morality in
the performance of his/her public mandate, all
for the glory and honor of God, family and
country.
IMPERATIVE HURDLES TO BE OVERCOME
FUNDING/RECRUTMENT STRATEGIES: For operations purposes and to subsidize/finance any and all prospective election-related activities in the future such as membership drives, voter registration/education programs and the above humanitarian programs designed to teach and inculcate among the Filipino electorate their moral/ethical obligation to vote candidates wisely basing the same on political platforms/agendas of government and not money or popularity, BBP must be able to raise enough and continuous funding to support the same. Using USA-style election campaign strategies, BBP intends to raise this much-needed funding with donations from ordinary but similarly-minded Filipinos wherever they may be but with particular focus/emphasis from overseas-based Filipinos in USA and Canada. The suggested minimum membership fee of $10/month is strictly voluntary and not mandatory. In addition, each BBP advocate is and shall be enjoined to recruit at least 3 similarly-minded individuals as well;
COMMUNICATION: LASTLY, if only to disseminate much-needed news and/or development happening in our country as well as inform/orient any and all BBP members on all matters considered vitally important to the advocacy, BBP's registered members will be given complimentary subscription to Global Hello.com, a video e-mail messaging service (as demonstrated in the home page) which would allow them to send at least 50 personalized video e-mails per month to anyone, anytime, anywhere in the world
